Mud + Stone Policies and Procedures:
Late Policy - I totally understand traffic can be brutal at times and life happens. Mud + Stone will do our best to fit in your entire appointment as long as it doesn’t cause us to run late for the next client. However, if we must shorten the appointment, you will still be charged the total amount for the service booked. This will be extremely strict going forward. Please plan to arrive at the appointment time to minimize interactions with other guests. Please practice social distancing by waiting at the top of the stairs in the unlikely event appointments are overlapping.
Cancellation Policy - We ask for your cooperation and respect in honoring our 24 Hour Cancellation Policy. This allows time for Mud + Stone to fill the spot you reserved. For, anything under 24 hours, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment booked.
If you or an immediate family member in your household are presenting with COVID-19 Symptoms including:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
You will be asked to reschedule your appointment. If you are recovering from ANY illness, you will be asked to wait 14 days before making a new appointment.
DO NOT TAKE ANY MEDICATION TO COVER YOUR SYMPTOMS
And then show up trying to get services. Clients who are taking certain medications may be asked to leave, depending on your situation. Obviously medications taken regularly are not part of this (ex blood pressure), and allergy medications are fine. Do not get services (for your own health as well as ours) if you are feeling unwell at all. This is to minimize those trying to cover their symptoms and get services, at a serious risk to themselves and others.
No Show Policy - If you decided to no show you better call and let us know that you are ok... because when someone doesn't show up for their massage or facial appointment I just assume something really bad has happened. We know how serious you are about looking and feeling great! No shows will be charged immediately for 50% of the appointment.
Please don’t no show... it really stinks.
Temperature Checks and Sanitary Procedures- Temperature checks will be held at the door. You will be asked to sanitize your hands, and wash your hands in the room before the treatment is performed. Please arrive in a mask if possible, we have limited supply to give to clients. You have the option to wear it during treatment if you feel comfortable. You will not be required to wear a mask during service, but a pillowcase will be draped to minimize the spread of bodily fluids when lying face down.
Staff will also perform
We take the upmost pride in our sanitary procedures and believe we are one of the safest establishments in town of our kind. We sanitize the spa COMPLETELY between clients. For this purpose we ask you arrive at your appointment time. Some furniture, fixtures, and our community tea station have been removed for your safety. Reverse osmosis 5- stage filtered water is available in the treatment room.
We see a minimal, controlled flow of clientele per day and we do not accept walk-ins. Anyone who comes in for services, as well as our staff, are thoroughly pre-screened for the safety of everyone.
